Product description
Seresto is an antiparasitic collar for dogs designed to provide prolonged protection against fleas and ticks. Its polymer matrix gradually releases the active ingredients onto the dog’s skin and coat.
The collar acts against ticks, fleas, flea larvae and lice and provides anti-feeding activity against ticks. It also contributes to indirect protection against the transmission of pathogens responsible for certain vector-borne canine diseases.
The version for dogs weighing more than 8 kg contains imidacloprid 4.50 g and flumethrin 2.03 g. Protection lasts approximately 7–8 months, according to the instructions provided with the veterinary medicinal product.
The collar is grey, odourless, adjustable and water-resistant. Correct use and duration of protection depend on following the instructions in the package leaflet.
