FRONTLINE HOMEGARD is an insecticidal and acaricidal spray intended for the treatment of household environments. It helps control fleas, flea larvae and ticks in areas and on surfaces frequented by pets.
It can be used to treat permitted household areas such as pet bedding, carpets, rugs, sofas, skirting boards, cracks and other places where parasites may hide, always following the directions and compatibility warnings on the label.
When applied correctly, the product provides long-lasting effectiveness for up to 6 months on treated areas, helping reduce environmental infestation and complement the parasite treatment used on the animal.
Shake before use and apply only as directed on the product label. Test delicate or coloured materials on a small hidden area before extensive application. Ventilate the room and respect the stated drying and re-entry times.

05 Duration and treatment strategy
FRONTLINE HOMEGARD has residual efficacy lasting up to 6 months after application.
If the infestation persists despite correct use, contact a professional pest-control operator.
In persistent infestations, the authorised instructions recommend alternating with products containing active substances with a different mode of action, to help limit resistance.
06 Safety precautions and cats
Do not use directly on animals.
Do not use on cats, other animals or cat baskets.
Permethrin may be dangerous to cats. Keep cats away from treated surfaces because serious adverse effects may occur.
Keep children and pets away during treatment. Remove or cover terrariums, aquariums and animal cages and switch off aquarium air filters.
After application, leave the room and allow the product to act for at least one hour before ventilating.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke and do not spray onto an open flame.
07 First-aid information
Inhalation: move the affected person to fresh air and keep them in a semi-seated position. Seek medical advice if symptoms occur or if a large quantity has been inhaled.
Eye contact: rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes, removing contact lenses when easy to do. Seek medical advice if irritation or visual problems persist.
Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing and rinse the skin with water. Contact a poison centre if symptoms occur.
Mouth contact: rinse the mouth with water and contact a poison centre if symptoms occur or if a large amount entered the mouth.
Keep the container or label available when seeking medical or veterinary advice.
08 Storage and disposal
Keep out of the reach of children.
Protect from sunlight and store at temperatures not exceeding 40°C.
