Product description
FRONTLINE Combo Spot-On Cats is a topical veterinary antiparasitic treatment for cats and ferrets. In cats, it is intended for flea infestations alone or associated with ticks and chewing lice.
It eliminates adult fleas and provides insecticidal activity against new adult flea infestations for four weeks. It also helps interrupt the flea life cycle by inhibiting the development of eggs, larvae and pupae for six weeks after application.
In cats, the activity against ticks persists for up to two weeks. The product also eliminates chewing lice and may be used as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis.
One 0.5 ml pipette contains 50 mg of fipronil and 60 mg of (S)-methoprene. Fipronil eliminates fleas within 24 hours and ticks and chewing lice within 48 hours of infestation.
Apply the entire contents of one pipette directly to the skin at the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades. The minimum interval between treatments is four weeks.
Important information
Veterinary medicinal product for external topical use. Do not use in kittens younger than 8 weeks and/or weighing less than 1 kg, or in ferrets younger than 6 months.
Do not use in rabbits, sick or convalescent animals, or in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or any excipient. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Apply the product where the animal cannot lick it and prevent treated animals from licking one another. Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes and avoid bathing during the two days following application.
Wash hands after use. Do not touch the treated animal and do not allow children to play with it until the application site is dry. Read the package leaflet carefully before use.

Quanto dura la protezione?
Nei gatti protegge contro le nuove infestazioni da pulci adulte per 4 settimane. L’azione sullo sviluppo di uova, larve e pupe dura fino a 6 settimane, mentre l’attività contro le zecche persiste fino a 2 settimane.
Come si applica correttamente la pipetta?
Separare il pelo alla base del collo, tra le scapole, fino a rendere visibile la cute. Posizionare la punta della pipetta direttamente sulla pelle e svuotare l’intero contenuto in un unico punto, evitando di applicarlo soltanto sul pelo.
Ogni quanto può essere ripetuto il trattamento?
L’intervallo minimo tra due applicazioni è di 4 settimane. Per stabilire la frequenza più adatta alle condizioni dell’animale e al rischio di infestazione, attenersi al foglietto illustrativo e alle indicazioni del medico veterinario.
Si può utilizzare nei gattini e nei furetti?
Non utilizzare nei gattini di età inferiore a 8 settimane e/o con peso inferiore a 1 kg. Nei furetti non deve essere usato prima dei 6 mesi di età.
Il gatto può essere lavato dopo l’applicazione?
È consigliabile evitare bagni o shampoo nei 2 giorni successivi all’applicazione. Lasciare asciugare completamente la zona trattata ed evitare che l’animale o altri animali possano leccarla.
Quali sono le principali precauzioni?
Non utilizzare su conigli, animali malati o convalescenti e non applicare in caso di ipersensibilità ai principi attivi. Evitare il contatto con gli occhi, lavarsi le mani dopo l’uso e non toccare la zona trattata fino alla completa asciugatura.
