Product description
FRONTLINE Combo Spot-On Dogs is a topical veterinary antiparasitic treatment for dogs, available in different sizes according to body weight. It is intended for infestations by fleas, ticks and chewing lice.
It eliminates adult fleas and maintains insecticidal activity against new adult flea infestations for eight weeks. It also helps interrupt the flea life cycle by inhibiting the development of eggs, larvae and pupae for eight weeks after application.
Its acaricidal activity against ticks persists for up to four weeks. It also eliminates chewing lice and may be used as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis.
The formula contains fipronil 10% w/v and (S)-methoprene 9% w/v. Fipronil eliminates fleas within 24 hours and ticks and chewing lice within 48 hours of infestation.
Select the pipette that corresponds to the dog’s actual body weight. Apply the entire contents directly to the skin at the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades, in one spot. The minimum interval between treatments is four weeks.
Important information
Veterinary medicinal product for external topical use in dogs only. Select the correct pipette according to the dog’s body weight and do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not use in puppies younger than 8 weeks and/or weighing less than 2 kg, in sick or convalescent animals, in rabbits, or in animals with hypersensitivity to the active substances or any excipient.
This product is intended exclusively for dogs. Do not use in cats or ferrets, as this may result in overdose. Apply it where the dog cannot lick it and prevent treated animals from licking one another.
Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes. Avoid immersion in water or bathing during the two days following application and do not allow the dog to swim in watercourses during this period.
Wash hands after use. Do not touch the application site and do not allow children to play with the treated dog until the area is completely dry. Read the package leaflet carefully before use.

Come scelgo la pipetta corretta?

Come si applica correttamente la pipetta?
Separare il pelo alla base del collo, tra le scapole, fino a rendere visibile la cute. Posizionare la punta della pipetta direttamente sulla pelle e svuotare l’intero contenuto sulla cute, evitando di applicarlo soltanto sul pelo.
Ogni quanto può essere ripetuto il trattamento?
L’intervallo minimo tra due applicazioni è di 4 settimane. Per stabilire la frequenza più adatta alle condizioni del cane e al rischio di infestazione, attenersi al foglietto illustrativo e alle indicazioni del medico veterinario.
Può essere utilizzato nei cuccioli?

Quali sono le principali precauzioni?
Non utilizzare su conigli, animali malati o convalescenti e non applicare in caso di ipersensibilità ai principi attivi. Evitare il contatto con gli occhi, lavarsi le mani dopo l’uso, impedire che il cane lecchi la zona trattata ed evitare bagni nei 2 giorni successivi all’applicazione.
